With my first born I often found myself sitting staring at him (enjoying him ;)), carrying him around and placing him different places… I wanted to do things with him, but when the babies are around 0-5 months old it can be a challenge to figure out what to do with the little one. This time I started doing these exercises with my baby and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share with you guys. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The series I’ve made with my baby, is to be seen as an inspiration. You can follow along or do it your own way, deciding the number of repetitions yourself. You will notice that it depends a lot on your baby’s mood, how much/little you will get done! Exercising with your baby is a lot different than exercise on your own, you should both have fun with it and then your results will be just an extra benefit.
For me this was a great start on exercise postpartum and really helped me to slowly get back in shape respecting my body’s healing process and my baby’s needs at the same time. My baby is here 4 months old. Take your time with it, once you get started you’ll quickly get motivated to do more, and then you can check out all my other videos.
I used to do aesthetic gymnastics and we always warmed up with a lot of “swing” exercises. It is like very old-fashioned gymnastic. I think these kind of exercises get you warm from top to toe and it is a fun way to get in some cardio too. Get swinging!!

Get sweating with these simple cardio and stretch exercises. You will get your cardio training in or you will get nice and warm for some of my other videos. A great warm up will get your heart rate up, improve blood flow which will help the muscles to be more alert and thereby help preventing injury from happening. Make sure to always warm up before heavy sports.
